On gender – how privileges work

When you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror. What do you see? Class and race and gender are not about the others it´s about how we look at it, we have to think about that. Privilige is invisible to those who have it. This short video below was an eye-opener to me. I never looked this way at privilege.

Over the last year we did eight kick-offs of Learning Networks with the world´s leading chemical company. The specifics of these groups is that they are  women´s groups. One goal the company wants to achieve with these Learning Networks is to promote the exchange of young with more experienced associates on professional carreer topics (visability/ motivation/networking/ hurdles).

Das Unternehmen hat sich mit dem Aufbau dieser Learning Network unter anderem zum Ziel gesetzt, den Austausch von jungen mit erfahrenen Mitarbeiterinnen zu Laufbahnthemen (Sichtbarkeit / Motivation / Vernetzung / Karriere-Klippen) zu fördern.
